The Dairy industry remains a powerhouse of the Victorian economy, supporting jobs, families and export earning in its regions and in its urban centres.  As the membership grows, Dairy Farmers Victoria is pleased to recognise that the organisation represents all regions of the State. Following significant enquiry from industry supporters and service providers, we are today announcing the establishment of two associate membership opportunities.

"Elise and I recognise that while we are one industry, the issues that arise in our region vary from others within Victoria and we believe its vital for a prosperous future of dairy to have local advocacy in each region of Victoria." said Jon Pethybridge, Whorouly South. "Just as it is important that we have a clear voice for dairy in the State, it is important that the concerns of the North East Valleys are also heard."

"The impact of both seasonal conditions and climate change varies across Victoria and it is important that as an industry association we are across these variations" said Brad Collins, Dixie.  "It is important that we are there and listening at the regional level if we are to do the best for our members and our industry"

"Service providers and industry partners are critical to the continued operation of our dairy farms and our industry. Whether they be refridgeration mechanics, silage contractors, accountants or milk processors, we couldn't operate without their involvement." said Aaron Thomas, Won Wron. "We have been overwhelmed by the support and encouragement we have received from many across the industry and we have heard their calls to become members. At Dairy Farmers Victoria we are all about the positive future for our industry and our service providers and partners recognise it and want to be part of our success."

"Mark and I recognise the importance of our team, not only for the future of our business but also for the industry" said Ann Gardiner, Bamawm.

"We believe it is important that they have the opportunity to be members of Dairy Farmers Victoria in their own right and can share in the information, engagement and other benefits that membership offers."

A website has been established www.dairyfarmersvictoria.org.au and membership forms are available through the website or by emailing dairyfarmersvictoria@gmail.com
